A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of nine-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel. The youngster died after a gunman burst through the door at her home on Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot on August 22.
Police carried out warrants at three properties in the West Derby area earlier today, September 8. Officers have now arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of assisting an offender, who remains in custody for questioning.
Searches of the three properties are continuing. Four other men who were arrested and linked to the murder were conditionally bailed on Wednesday (September 7). One of the people bailed includes a 34-year-old man, from Runcorn, who had been arrested on suspicion of murder. The others released include a 34-year-old man, from Liverpool, a 41-year-old man, from Knowsley, and a 29-year-old man, who were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and questioned by police.
