A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a newborn baby. The seven-week-old tot was discovered unresponsive at a property in Burnley on November 28 last year.
He was rushed to Manchester Children's Hospital but tragically died two days later on November 30, Lancashire Police have confirmed.
A man and a woman were initially arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed. They were both then re-arrested on suspicion of murder.
The woman has since been released without charge while the man remains on bail as the investigation into the tragedy continues.
