A man has been left unable to walk or talk after falling from a buggy and cracking his head open while on a lads' holiday in Ayia Napa.

Andre Franco, from Camden, was rushed to Nicosia Hospital in Cyprus following the horror accident and has been receiving treatment there for the past five weeks.

The 22-year-old' godmother, Susana Costa, says he will require specialist medical aviation to get back home to the UK, the Mirror reports.

Depending on whether Andre is recovered enough to be able to sit up during take-off and landing, the flight could cost anywhere between £15,000 and £32,000.
