A teenager who was stabbed to death in Bury suffered the fatal injury during a sudden two second confrontation between two groups of youths in the town centre, the M.E.N.
can reveal. The 19-year-old was stabbed in the chest with a knife moments after the two groups came together in broad daylight on Market Street on Friday afternoon.
The clash lasted no more than two seconds and involved seven youths, detectives believe. The victim, who has not been named, was taken to hospital but he died later.
