BBC series Noughts + Crosses is set to make a return with a second series. The hit drama, which is based on Malorie Blackman's novels, will continue to follow Callum and Sephy's storyline as they desperately attempt to flee Albion in the hope of starting a new life together.
Meanwhile, the city is torn in the wake of Sephy's "kidnap". Malorie's famous books are based on a society that is divided by racism.
Sephy, played by Masali Baduza, is a cross - a member of the dark-skinned ruling class - while Callum, played by Jack Rowan, is a nought - a "colourless" member of the underclass who were once slaves to the crosses.
