Childhood trauma stems from parents, teachers, things they've gone through and witnessed, public figures, important figures in their life at the time...The trauma resonates with you when you're a child and you absorb everything in.Then you tend to forget what happened to you as a kid until you get certain triggers.
For me, my mum, Consy, was quite depressed and sad my whole life growing up. She lost my dad and had to move to England from Sweden with four young kids to look after.
Seeing her in and out of hospital damaged me quite a lot, too. She had breast cancer when I was nine years old.Then it cleared up before coming back during my adulthood.
