The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild will present its 2025 Vanguard to the Research Council of Makeup Artists during the MUAHS Awards next month.
RCMA Makeup is being honored for its significant contributions to the make-up and hair styling industry that has left a lasting impact on the craft.
The group will be feted at the 12th annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards on February 15 at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel. “This year we are honoring the legacy of the RCMA, a pillar in the make-up and hair styling community for over 60 years” MUAHS President Julie Socash said in a statement. “Their products have been used by many of our members, enhancing the creative designs of iconic characters in film, television and theater.” The Research Council of Makeup Artists was organized to serve the betterment of professional makeup in the film, TV and stage industries.
In doing so, founder Vincent J.R. Kehoe developed and designed Color Process Foundation, a special foundation formula for professional makeup artists that still is considered the top choice for professionals today.
