Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards – Updating Live
deadline.comThe 12th annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards are being handed out tonight at the Beverly Hilton, and Deadline is posting the winners live as they are announced.
Check out the list below. Dancing with the Stars stars and spouses Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson are hosting the ceremony, where awards will be presented in 23 categories spanning makeup and hair styling artistry in motion pictures, television, commercials, music videos and live theater.
A new award will be presented for the first time. It is Broadway and International Live Theater Production: Make-Up and Hair Styling.
Since the modern MUAHS Awards began in 2014, one of its marquee film winners for makeup or hair has gone on the claim the Best Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar every year except twice — but one of those was last year.
