Major works are underway on a Metrolink line which will be closed to passengers for more than nine weeks. Engineers are currently working between the Eccles and Weaste tram stops, in Salford.
It's part of major track renewal work which began on Saturday (July 15) and is expected to last until Wednesday, September 20.
No services will run between Eccles and Weaste while the work takes place, with the line due to reopen in full on Thursday, September 21.
Three days on from the work beginning, Metrolink bosses have released photos showing the progress made so far. Part of Eccles New Road is closed to drivers and fenced off while the work takes place.
