One of the nation's largest producers of supermarket pizzas has been fined £800,000 after part of a worker's middle finger was severed.
And in a seperate incident at the Stateside Foods factory in Bolton, another worker needed a skin graft after his arm was drawn into an 'inadequately guarded' conveyor belt.
Stateside Foods Ltd produces millions of pizzas each year, all supplied to major UK supermarkets. The firm's Bolton factory is based in Westhoughton.
