Major refurbishment plans for Bothwell Bridge hotel

Proposals have been unveiled for a major refurbishment of a prominent Lanarkshire hotel – including the addition of 70 bedrooms and grand suites, a 175-seat restaurant and a “luxurious and serene” spa.Bothwell Bridge hotel owners Manorview group have shared an initial design image of their vision for the upgraded destination after officially submitting their plans to South Lanarkshire Council for approval.Representatives say they aim to begin work on the refurbishment in 2025 and “are committed to opening the venue as soon as feasible”, saying the build project and hotel opening are expected to create between 150 and 200 jobs.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
