Major bank sites crash including Lloyds, Barclays and Monzo

Customers of some of the country's biggest banking sites have begun to report being locked out of their accounts this morning.

Issues have been reported at multiple banks including Barclays, Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Lloyds, HSBC, Santander, Nationwide, NatWest, Monzo and Yorkshire Bank.

Customers are reporting they are unable to transfer funds, or access online banking or mobile banking apps. Reports of problems came flooding in at around 6am today when many customers tried accessing their accounts online.

Some customers have reported their problems on social media, the Mirror reports.
