Maisie Smith has assured that she will make a return to EastEnders at some point, hoping to reprise her iconic role of Tiffany Butcher once again.The Strictly Come Dancing star, 21, who became a household name after joining the BBC soap at just six years old, has been away from the show for two years, after returning in 2018 following a four-year break.
Despite being consumed by her role in the Strictly Ballroom: The Musical, which she joined after placing second in the BBC dancing show, the actress assured during a chat with OK!
that she has 'never really left' the soap that made her famous. She said of the show: "You never leave EastEnders. I’ve got a family on there that will be there for the next 50 years.
I’ll always have a place there.The next time someone gets married or dies, I’m sure I’ll be back. "They’ve watched me grow up and have never treated me any differently.” The door is certainly open for a comeback, with Maisie's character Tiffany leaving Walford to move to Germany with brother Liam (Alfie Deegan).
