Mahershala Ali Signs With CAA (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comKatcy Stephan Two-time Academy Award-winning actor Mahershala Ali has signed with CAA. Ali gained widespread recognition for his Oscar-winning role in “Moonlight,” which also earned him a SAG Award, Critics’ Choice Movie Award and New York Film Critics Circle Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He won his second Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Don Shirley in “Green Book,” a performance that also garnered Golden Globe, SAG and BAFTA awards.
Additionally, he received a BAFTA nomination for Apple TV+’s “Swan Song.” Ali will next star alongside Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey in Universal’s “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” directed by Gareth Edwards and set to release on July 2.
He will then film “Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother,” written and directed by Bassam Tariq for Amazon MGM’s Orion Pictures.
