Married At First Sight UK's Peggy Rose has bagged a fashion deal after saying goodbye to her day job. The reality star, 32, who was paired with French personal trainer Georges Berthonneau, 30, on the hit E4 show, is now set to launch her own edit with Girl In The Mirror.
Peggy, who loves playing around with different styles and fashion, said she never thought she'd end up doing a job she's so passionate about. "I have quit my job, I have realised that life's too short to be in a job you don't enjoy.
I was good at my job but I didn't enjoy it like I enjoy fashion," she told The Sun. She added: "The job I had before was not sustainable, I was making myself ill from the stress of it, it was ridiculous hours, a high-pressured role, I was one of the few females." Peggy revealed that her upcoming collection will feature a mix of colours and unique designs that reflect her style.
She also revealed: "It's taken a long time. We've tried to incorporate my MAFS style, so expect to see some feathers and asymmetry and a lot of highway fashion mixed with runway catwalk fashion at affordable prices." MAFS sees two complete strangers meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day, in a unique social experiment.
