Married At First Sight star Ross McCarthy has been supported by friends and fans after sharing some heartbreaking news.The TV personality revealed that his beloved nana - who appeared on the programme - would shortly die after a "roller coaster few months".

He said: "There be no more pains your gonna go nice and peacefully. I’m going to miss you so much but I know you had a nice life." In a heartbreaking Facebook post today, Ross shared a series of snaps of his grandmother as he opened up on their close relationship.

Saying he was going to miss being able to talk to his nana for hours and hearing all of her conversations, fans flocked to the comments to comfort the 32 year old. “My nana, my queen, my world,” he began. “Well what can I say, the past few months have been a roller coaster.

Her time is now coming to the end she’s 91 she’s nothing but a WARRIOR and an absolute FIGHTER.
