Married at First Sight star Ella Morgan has announced that she will be quitting social media after receiving transphobic abuse.

The nurse, 29, made history in this series as the show’s first transgender contestant and walked down the aisle to marry Nathanial Valentino.

However, the couple have had a rocky start to their marriage, with Ella going on a secret date with JJ Slater on Wednesday’s episode, despite still being married to Nathanial.

This led to an explosive episode the following evening during a contestant dinner party, where Ella and Nathanial argued in front of the group.
