Married At First Sight's Holly Ditchfield has revealed what really happened between her and husband Alex Henry after they left the experiment, following speculation they had rekindled their romance.The pair had a rocky relationship on the show and eventually chose to leave early following a series of explosive arguments.

However, they appeared to be showing support for one another on social media following the show and were even snapped hand-in-hand on a night out in Manchester recently, where they even shared a kiss for the cameras.

But clearing things up during a Q&A with her Instagram followers, Holly confirmed they didn't reconcile romantically. "We was never back together; we was working on a friendship," Holly responded to a fan asking about her relationship with Alex.

Earlier this month, Holly and Alex took a roadtrip through the Yorkshire Dales together and documented the journey on Instagram. “Day out with my ex wife,” captioned Alex as he shared a clip from the trip.The couple could be seen in the car as Holly told fans: “I’m out with my ex-husband today.” "We’re going to show you exactly what we’re like when we’re together,” she exclaimed.Throughout the video, the pair were ‘jokingly’ having an argument over Alex’s timekeeping before having a sing-a-long.Their seemingly close bond off-screen is a far cry from their last interaction on the show, which came following weeks of arguments.
