A huge ‘mafia scale’ fly tip that has blighted a city centre beauty spot will get cleared up following the MEN’s intervention.
The ‘rotting’ rubbish was dumped in River Medlock valley woodland, near Pin Mill Brow, around a fortnight ago, says David Bailey.
He says that since his initial report to the council, two more fly tips have been added to the mess. That’s led David, a lecturer at the University of Manchester, to believe the incident is ‘organised crime’.
