Her mother would be so proud - Mae Muller rises like a phoenix from the ashes to claim her first-ever UK Top 10 single with I Wrote A Song.
Following an admittedly disappointing result in Liverpool (they just didn't understand!!), the UK has well and truly rallied behind Mae, taking I Wrote A Song up a massive thirty-six places in the Official Singles Chart today, to a brand new peak of Number 9.
The Zantecore foam party banger, co-written by Mae, Karen Poole (Becky Hill, Kylie Minogue) and producer Lewis Thompson (Rita Ora, Joel Corry) with co-production from Alfred Parx (L Devine), gains a brand new peak, having originally rushed to debut at Number 30 - the first UK Eurovision entry to debut inside the Top 40 in over a decade.
I Wrote A Song also helps usher Mae into an exciting new phase of her career, becoming her first-ever Top 10 single. She previously reached the Top 40 with slow-burning summer anthem Better Days with Neiked and Polo G in 2021.
