deadline.comUS singer Macy Gray was branded a “sore loser” by TV viewers Saturday evening after she stormed off stage during her unveiling in The Masked Singer.
Gray – disguised as ‘Toad in the Hole’ – lost out in the elimination round of the competition in the UK version of the hit show.
The audience had voted to save other artists, which meant she had to go head-to-head with ‘Bear’ in a sing-off. When the judges opted to save her rival, ‘Toad’ suddenly turned and walked off stage.
She was persuaded to return moments later when she revealed her identity – as guessed by two of the British judges – but then gave only one-word answers to struggling host Joel Dommett.
