A Scots thug found guilty of a brutal machete murder bid has shared pictures on Instagram and Snapchat just days after being locked up.
Leonard Cole was convicted at Paisley Sheriff Court last week by a jury who found him guilty of the attempted murder of a man in broad daylight during an attack in Union Street, Greenock in June 9, 2018.
The 23-year-old was remanded in custody while his sentence was deferred - but he has since been updating Snapchat and Instagram with photographs of himself and other cons from behind bars.In pictures posted to social media, Cole can be seen smiling alongside fellow inmates.In one snap, in which he is wearing a blue t-shirt, Cole gives the camera a thumbs up as he poses for his social media followers.The Scottish Prison Service have now launched a probe into the incident.
It comes after the Record reported organised crime gang members were offering prison officers up to £3,000 to smuggle iPhones into jail.
