M8 closed eastbound due to "concern for person" in ongoing police incident

The M8 has been closed Eastboound due to a “police incident” on the motorway near Glasgow Airport.Emergency services raced to the busy road between junction 29 and 27 after the alarm was raised at around 6.10pm.Officers received a report for a “concern for a person” on the road and quickly closed off the eastbound section near the exit for the airport.Road users are being advised by Police Scotland to avoid the area.There is no access from the A737 on to the M8 Eastbound Don't miss the latest headlines from around Renfrewshire.
