M&S releases ‘stylish and comfortable’ £39 dupe of Chanel ballet pumps

Marks and Spencer never misses when it comes to wardrobe essentials, and the latest item that shoppers can’t get enough of just so happens to be a perfect dupe for a luxury designer item.

The Leather Bow Ballet Pumps, £39.50 here, are incredibly similar to one of Chanel’s most iconic pairs of shoes, the classic bow-fronted ballet flat, but cost just a fraction of the price.

The classic Chanel pair can cost upwards of £720, and although there’s plenty of different versions, one of the most iconic styles is the simple flat black leather pair, with a delicate bow on the front and the brand’s Double C logo on the toe.

However, if you don’t have a spare several hundred pounds to drop on a pair of shoes, M&S has come to the rescue. Marks and Spencer’s version has a similar round toed shape and minimal design, and even has its very own miniature black bow on the front, just like the Chanel pair.The ballet pumps are made from real leather, and have subtle stitching across the toe which is reminiscent of Chanel’s signature toe cap that features on many of its shoes.
