M&S Energy customers issued six-week account warning as firm announces closure

M&S Energy customers are being switched to another company as the firm has announced that it's shutting down.From April 1, anyone who has an account open with the supplier will be moved to Octopus Energy.

M&S Energy announced they are not accepting new customers, but have assured existing ones they will continue to "receive honest pricing".M&S Energy launched back in 2008 and currently has 60,000 customers.

Money Saving Expert reports both firms have partnered since 2018, meaning that M&S already supply's energy under Octopus's licence agreements.An online statement from M&S Energy read: "From April 1 2023, M&S Energy will become Octopus Energy.

All our customers will continue to receive honest pricing, 100 per cent renewable energy and outstanding customer service, however we're not accepting new customers at this time."If you're an M&S customer, you don't need to worry about being left without power, as the change won't disrupt supplies.
