Former TOWIE star Lydia Bright often shares her journey of motherhood on social media - the highs and the lows. And now, the 32-year-old, who is mum to three-year-old daughter Loretta, has addressed the negative comments she gets, admitting that while she finds them "frustrating", she also "understands" where they come from.
She told us: "It is frustrating when I see any on my posts, but I also understand them in a way. Before I had Loretta I had a much more polished and glossy feed of images, and now I’m posting about motherhood. "I have a different audience now.
I have a lot of mums following me so I want things to be authentic, including ups and downs. That will naturally split opinions though. The majority of people are kind, but you do get the odd negative message." But no matter how much criticism Lydia might receive, posting the trials and tribulations on her Instagram is something she'll never stop doing. "I'll always share the reality of being a mum because, for me, that wouldn't feel right if I didn't," Lydia continued.
Not caring about what other people think, Lydia admitted, is a motto she's trying to live her life by. And as long as her mum Debbie believes she's a good parent, that's all that matters.
