Luke Letlow was a Republican politician who had just been elected to represent Louisiana’s 5th District in the U.S.
House of Representatives.Letlow worked as congressional district director for Bobby Jindal when he served in the U.S. House of Representatives, and he continued with Jindal as director of intergovernmental affairs when he became governor of Louisiana in 2008.
Later, Letlow became campaign manager for Ralph Abraham as he ran for U.S. House of Representatives and became his chief of staff for his three terms in office.
When Abraham retired, Letlow was elected to his seat in Congress in a December 5 runoff election. He would have been the state’s youngest U.S.
