Lukas Gage, Emily Browning, & Drake Rodger to Lead Hulu's 'Prison Break' Reboot Pilot

The first three stars of Hulu‘s upcoming Prison Break reboot pilot have been announced! It was first revealed in November 2023 that a reboot to the hit FOX crime drama was in the works and Hulu officially ordered a pilot in December 2024 from Elgin James.

On Thursday (March 13), it was announced that Lukas Gage, Emily Browning, and Drake Rodger have been cast as series regulars. Keep reading to find out more…While plot details for the reboot are being kept under wraps, the three actor’s character descriptions have been revealed.

According to Deadline, Emily, 36, will be playing Cassidy Collins, an “ex-soldier turned corrections officer who takes a job at one of the deadliest prisons in America.” Lukas, 29, is playing Jackson, “a politician from a well-to-do background in his first congressional campaign” while Drake, 26, is playing Tommy, “an inmate at one of the deadliest prisons in America, incarcerated ten years ago.” The upcoming Prison Break reboot will be set in the same universe as the original series, which followed Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), who makes it his mission to prove that his convicted brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is innocent, hatching a plan to save him from death row and escape him from prison.
