Crocked Celtic star Luis Palma could find himself at the centre of a club vs country row after Honduras FA chief Gerardo Ramos insisted on the winger reporting for international duty despite his latest injury setback.
The £4million winger picked up a knock that kept him out of the Hoops' 4-2 Scottish Cup quarter-final win against Livingston at the weekend and is reportedly a huge doubt for their weekend game with St Johnstone.
But Honduras are desperate to call on their star man for their one-off Copa America play-off against Costa Rica in Texas, USA.The 24-year-old has won 12 caps for his country and scored one goal against Grenada and Honduran FA general manager Ramos has insists Palma will definitely travel.
He said: "Luis Palma has a minor injury that has been worked on with the National Team doctor in conjunction with the Celtic doctor.
