‘What a loss to Virgin,’ Lucy Kennedy says of Anna Daly’s decision to step down from Ireland AM. The broadcaster made the announcement that she was leaving the station after years in the hot seat last week.

Anna and Lucy have been firm friends for years outside the professional bubble and her presence will be sorely missed in the halls of Virgin Media. ‘Anna is my pal, she’s my friend friend.

She’s not a telly acquaintance, she is my friend. We were born the same year, the same date. We are twins. We actually call ourselves Tess and Claudia,’ she tells EVOKE as she discusses the Virgin Media Autumn Launch.
