Low Moss Covid outbreak cases 'almost double' as Scots nurses 'fear for lives'

Covid-19 cases at a Scots prison have almost doubled in one week as understaffed NHS nurses working there 'fear for their lives'.

The nurse described HMP Low Moss in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire as 'pure hell' amid a spike in cases from 30 to 50 in the last week.

The exhausted member of staff, who asked to remain anonymous, alleges that infected inmates are allowed to 'leave cells to do laundry and gardening'.
