'Loving and devoted' dad found dead on street with mysterious 'head injury'
dailyrecord.co.ukHeartfelt tributes have been paid to a "loving and devoted family man" who died after he was found on a street with a head injury.Emergency services scrambled to Oldham, in Greater Manchester, after receiving reports that a man was lying unconscious on Abbey Hills Road at 11.55pm on Thursday, November 9.
Cops attended and discovered a man with a serious head injury. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man died a short time later.
Manchester Evening News reports that he has been named as Vincent McDonagh, 45, who originally came from Ireland. Police are now appealing to anyone with information, including relevant CCTV, about the incident to come forward.
A 38-year-old man from Oldham is due to appear in court charged with his murder.Vincent had a little boy who "he loved to pieces" and "was the life of the party," his grief-stricken fiancée Demi said.In the touching tribute, Demi called Vincent a doting father, and said: "Vinny was an amazing fiancé, a loving dad and devoted family man.
