Love Island viewers were left unimpressed with parts of the show’s highly anticipated final as the cameras and contestants struggled to put up with the villa’s windy weather.
Last night, March 13, saw Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrianan crowned as the winners, beating fellow couples Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, and Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga.
Throughout the series, which was filmed in South Africa, the villa and contestants battled against the elements and faced windy weather conditions – including last night.
In light of the unagreeable weather, some fans questioned if the show’s producers had done enough to ensure the broadcast went smoothly. "Could they not have put up a few wind breakers?" questioned one viewer.
