Former Love Island star Michael Boateng has slammed the UK government after detailing his "endless" two hour ambulance wait after dislocating his arm.
The 28 year old former footballer, who starred on the sixth series of Love Island in 2020, took to his Instagram stories to detail the incident, and said that he was in "excruciating pain".
Whilst thanking the paramedics who came to his aid, Michael used the opportunity to slam the UK government - even tagging Prime Minister Rishi Sunak - for not paying their NHS staff better.
He wrote: “Endured a tough ordeal today, a reminder of the strain on our NHS. “Having dislocated my arm, I found myself in excruciating pain for two seemingly endless hours whilst waiting for an ambulance. “Can't help but think about those dealing with even more critical conditions, caught up in these long waiting times - a crisis brought on by the government's unwillingness to reward healthcare heroes what they truly deserve.” Michael went on to name the paramedics who helped him as he praised them for their hard work and dedication.
