Love Island's Zara Lackenby-Brown has been left shaken, as she revealed she's been scammed by a boyfriend. The 26 year old found fame when she appeared on the winter version of Love Island in January of this year, before being dumped from the villa before Casa Amor.

On Monday, 21 October, Zara took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she had been "involved" with a guy who had "stolen" from her as she reflected on the downsides on life in the public eye.

Sharing a lengthy post on a black background, Zara wrote: "Ladies! Be careful who you let into your life! I consider myself an intelligent person, yet still I managed to become involved with a guy who has now stolen from me. "Life lesson: You never really know a person's true intentions until they reveal it to you." Zara went on: "I feel now being a public figure it's made me more susceptible to this kind of abuse." It's yet unclear who the accusations are referring to.

However, despite feeling shaken by the frightening ordeal, Zara said that she is doing her best to put on a brave face. She continued: "Still I won't let their treatment of me keep me down!
