Samie Elishi has broken her silence about her split from Love Island beau Tom Clare.The former flames met on the most recent series of the show and went on to make it all the way to the final.

While things between them seemed to be going well, six weeks on from leaving the South African villa, Tom and Samie have officially called things quits.

Following speculation that they’d ended their romance, Tom, 23, confirmed the news yesterday as he penned to his Instagram Story: “Didn’t think I’d be writing this but me & Samie have one [our] separate ways… we are still on good terms & I have nothing but love and respect for her.

I’m gutted it’s come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best”. He ended the statement with a red heart emoji. Now Samie herself has spoken out via social media, and shared a statement on Instagram on Thursday.
