Love Island's Olivia talks 'long-term plans with Maxwell' as she denies split

After rumours of her alleged split from Love Island beau Maxwell Samuda began circulating amongst reality fans, Olivia Hawkins wants to officially set the record straight regarding the status of their relationship.

The 27-year-old former ring girl tells OK!: "Things between me and Maxwell are really good. We spent pretty much the majority of time together after leaving the villa, before I went to spend time with family." The couple sparked split fears just days after the show final, after Max was spotted attending the Big Weekend launch party in London earlier this month, but Olivia was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, Liv posted a video as she watched a football match in Brighton, after going home to see family following the celebrity-packed Love Island finale party in London.

But Olivia - after enduring a turbulent road to romance - ensures us that things are only getting better for the couple. "There were rumours that we had split up, but they’re absolutely not true." Despite "vibing" with the likes Tom Clare, Haris Namani and Kai Fagan, it wasn’t until Casa Amor that she found her match in Maxwell - and things are going so well between them, that Olivia recently met his parents. "It was great," she recalls. "I felt like I’d known them for ages, which might be because they’d been watching our journey in the villa.The first time I went to Max’s house, he wasn’t even there! "So I had a cup of tea with his dad for an hour and we just chatted about everything.
