Love Island star Jess White has opened up about her clothing "nightmare" on the ITV2 show - and revealed that some girls were banned from wearing outfits that could clash with the one worn by host Maya Jama.
Speaking to OK!'s Love Island Dumping Debrief, which arrives on the OK! website on Sunday 21 July, Jess and Hugo Godfroy spilled the latest tea from the Majorca villa after becoming the latest pair to leave the show.
Stockport based Jess revealed that she could not use "90 percent" of her wardrobe after finding that it would cause the cameras to "strobe" - which happens when the studio lights flicker on a pattern-heavy material. "We had no clothes, 90 percent of our stuff strobed to the point where we said, ‘eBay – can you find us clothes?
We were told by the voice of God [the producers] that we needed our own fashion – but we had nothing. We all just re-wore the same outfits." She added that some of the girls were also banned from wearing certain colours if that's what Maya was wearing on the nights where she would enter the villa.
