Now, in his first acting role, Iain turns to the drama in his own life to find the laughs. This new sitcom is based on his days as a single man and kids’ TV host and the ups and downs of his twenties, before marriage and parenthood with Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore. “I play a character called Iain, who is a children’s TV presenter,” says the comedian, who was nominated for a BAFTA for his work on the CBBC channel. “On paper his life is sort of quite good.
