Love Island’s Iain Stirling dedicates BAFTA nomination to Caroline Flack

The BAFTA nominations were announced on Thursday morning, with Love Island narrator Iain Stirling receiving a nod. He announced that he would be dedicating his nomination to the late Caroline Flack.

The ITV2 show landed the nomination for Entertainment Craft Team, with Iain wanting to pay tribute to the women who helmed the show for the past five years.

Caroline died by suicide at the age of 40 earlier this year. Iain shared a heartfelt tribute to his late pal on Instagram: ‘Delighted for everyone involved in the show that we’re up for another BAFTA…’ ‘On a personal note, to be named here and considered one of the team when all I do is talk into a microphone for a few hours has touched me more than anyone will ever know.
