It has been revealed that Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti generated more half of the votes to take home the title of Love Island 2022 winners.
According to ITV, the pair received 63.69% of the public vote, while Gemma Owen and Luca Bish - who came in second - had only 14.47%.
Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope came in third place, and had 11.77% of the vote, as Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page were fourth with 10.07%.The news of the voting figures comes after ITV announced that a whopping 3.4 million people tuned in to watch the finale last night, Monday 1 August.
This made it the biggest finale since 2019, up 100,000 viewers year on year. In total, Love Island series 8 has had over 250 million streams this series, making it the most watched series ever on ITV Hub.
