Love Island's Claudia Fogarty and Casey O'Gorman have not rekindled that flame, despite some keen online speculation. In this winter's series of the dating show, which was won by Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan in the end, Claudia, 28, and Casey, 26, were coupled up for three weeks before the introduction of bombshell Rosie Seabrook, who turned the latter's head and spelt the end of their relationship.
After Casey and Rosie, 24, decided to call it quits just a matter of days ago, though, chatter has been rife about whether this means Claudia could slide her way back in there. "Rosie and I have spoken...
she's such a great girl," Casey originally revealed in a fan Q&A. "Life outside the villa is just very different and we will remain friends moving forward! [heart emoji]." On Thursday, Claudia was then asked directly by one of her Instagram followers what the situation was between her and the Islander. "So since this is the most popular question I'm going to address it now: me and Casey are just friends," she told the camera in a videoed response. "We have been since leaving the villa, there's no bad blood between us and there's also no relationship between us - apart from friendship. "We get on really well and you know, we were part of the same friend group in there, we both get on really well with Samie [Elishi] and Tom [Clare]. "We're all going out this weekend with the others, that'll be really fun.
But yes, you can all squash it now because it's just friends and nothing else. That's all there is to it I'm afraid." With booze involved, a night out together with friends could bring about another twist.
