De La Hoyde announced she was expecting a girl on Instagram, writing: “The secrets out. Finally someone for my team in this mad house.” The couple confirmed the news they were expecting a second child on on March 9 but De La Hoyde has said she has found her pregnancy a struggle during the lockdown amid the coronavirus crisis.
