Love Island's Anna-May Robey reveals she had a 'breakdown' in the villa

Love Island's Anna-May Robey has admitted that her time in the famous South African villa was "overwhelming" at times due to the intense nature of the show.The star found herself leaving the programme on day nine after being dumped from the villa after Australian bombshells Aaron Waters and Jessie Wynter arrived and were forced to pick to Islanders to send home.

Anna has now admitted that she felt as though she "couldn't get away" from the drama surrounding the couples. Speaking on Johnny Seifert's Secure The Insecure Podcast, Anna-May said: "It's very like overwhelming because you don't get a five-minute break. "I like having five minutes for myself, I like spending time by myself and I think being in a villa where you're surrounded by people 24/7, even though I love them all to bits, I find it quite difficult sometimes, especially when you're talking all the time." She added: "It's very, very tiring in there.

Despite her initial reservations, the payroll administrator from Swansea praised the production company behind the show for their support, saying: "To be fair, their production team and they've got welfare in there. "You know, we've got psychologists that you can speak to, they're all really good when like you're kind of struggling, they're all there for you."
