Amber Gill has defended her trip to Dubai after she was targeted by angry fans over her pre-Christmas break. The 23-year-old Love Island winner flew out to the UAE on Saturday, just as news was announced that London and the South East would be placed into a new Tier 4 lockdown.

A new strain of coronavirus has led to the Capital and home counties being shut down and there were some who questioned Amber's decision to head to the sun.

The Geordie reality star hit back on Instagram, saying she had "no idea" what Tier 4 rules were and is confused by what is happening in the UK.
