Love Island has been hit with a record-breaking number of Ofcom complaints after one particular explosive scene. The broadcasting regulator received a total of 24,763 complaints after a recent episode which involved a sweary and dramatic argument between Faye Winter and Teddy Soares.
The ITV2 reality dating show had previously soared to 4,000 complaints after the postcard arrived in the villa during Casa Amor earlier in the series.
However, this record has now been broken following the movie night challenge, which saw Faye and Teddy locking horns, The Mirror reports.
During the particular episode, Faye saw a clip of partner Teddy admitting he was sexually attracted to Clarisse in Casa Amor - and was very upset by what she saw and heard.
