Hugo Hammond has switched his role from Love Island contestant to presenter, according to fans.The PE teacher has stepped into the role of compere, from running challenges to mediating disputes - while official host Laura Whitmore has only been seen on screen for 11 minutes and 51 seconds so far this season.

Laura, 36, who stunned in another little black dress for Love Island's Aftersun, made her first appearance in this year's series on the debut episode where we saw the islanders couple up for the first time.

But as fans haven't seen the presenter since then, viewers have said that Hugo, 24, is more of a host than she has been so far.
