Love Island viewers have been left fuming with Shaq Muhammad for apologising to Tanya Manhenga after the chaos caused by Movie Night.
It comes after Shaq watched a video of Tanya, 23, kissing Nigerian-Irish bombshell Martin Akinola during one of the clips chosen by the boys to play in front of everyone.
In Thursday's episode, Shaq reacted to the video, saying: "So it was just a peck, yeah, and he went to kiss you? So we're lying now?" But Tanya quipped back: "If you're looking for something to be angry about, this isn't it." The confrontation led him to question whether she really does love him and he told the boys: 'I cant lie, I feel like she's a liar, I feel like she's full of s**t.' Later on in the show he was left gutted and crying and walked out of the villa for a bit of space away from the drama.
At the beginning of Friday night's episode the couple sat down to smooth things over. Sitting next to her in the garden, he said he wanted to "work through stuff" with her, and admitted: "The way I feel about you isn't like how I've felt about anyone else before." He continued: "If you're willing to take responsibility for how you were last night, I'll take responsibility for how I was last night." Tanya then agreed, saying: "Yes, I shouldn't have shouted at you." Shaq then added: "I'm sorry for how I spoke to you as well," and she snapped back "You should be." Fans raced to Twitter immediately fuming at what they had just witnessed.
