Love Island’s Hugo Hammond has been awkwardly swerved by newly single Chloe Burrows after he finally tried to get his feelings out.

The PE teacher hasn’t found any romantic connection with anyone during his month in the villa - but has been getting closer to Chloe throughout the weeks.

After speaking out in her defence at the latest recoupling, calling out her former beau Toby Aromolaran in the process, it seemed only a matter of time before he admitted that he had developed feelings for the 25-year-old.

However, when pulling her for a chat on Sunday night’s episode, Chloe awkwardly had to break to him that she didn’t feel the same way and just wanted to be friends.
