ITV has been forced to deny rumours circulating on social media that controversial Love Island contestant Jacques O’Neill, 23, was actually removed from the villa for doing an impression of fellow islander and deaf contestant Tasha Ghouri, 23.The allegations, which are unsubstantiated, began swirling after a series of text messages, alleged to be from someone who had met a member of the Love Island team at a party, claimed Jacques was actually removed from the villa for misogynistic behaviour and doing an impression of Tasha who is deaf.

Screenshots of texts have appeared online which make claim that these were the shock real reasons behind Jacques' sudden exit from the villa.

According to Metro.co.uk, ITV said the claims are completely false. Jacques left the show suddenly following tensions with Adam Collard, 26, and viewers were told after a statement from Love Island emerged saying: “Jacques has made the decision to leave the Villa. “He will explain his reasons to the Islanders during tonight’s episode.

We fully support his decision and look forward to seeing what’s next for Jacques.” The new claims come after furious fans were already accusing Jacques of bullying Tasha in video allegedly posted to his Instagram stories showing him reacting to the Love Island final.
